FEXTICUM es
el acrónimo de "Feria de Exposiciones Típico Culturales de Monsefú".
Desde 1973 este evento ha reunido, durante las Fiestas Patrias Peruanas, lo
mejor de la cultura y tradición de la Ciudad de las Flores.
En esta celebración se busca mostrar lo mejor de la rica herencia gastronómica, literaria, artesanal, agrícola, ganadera y religiosa de la comunidad, con la intención de celebrarla y mantenerla presente en las generaciones futuras. La característica fundamental de este evento es la capacidad de brindar que cada miembro del pueblo muestra en el plato que ofrece, el sombrero que remata, el juego que comparte, el baile que invita, la danza que muestra, el pan que regala y la fé que profesa.

Esta imagen es el santo patrón del pueblo y su fiesta de celebra todo el mes de septiembre. El día central de su fiesta es el 14 de septiembre, es el día para los visitantes. 8 días después se celebra "la octava" de la feria. Este día es el día del pueblo, en el que las mujeres monsefuanas salen a pasear luciendo todas sus alhajas.

This image is the town's patron saint and his feast celebrated throughout the month of September. The main day of the festival is on September 14, is the day for visitors.
